At the end of September I spent a week on the Isle of Skye – to walk the Skye Trail from Rubha Hunish to Broadford. I walked 6 of the stages in 5 days. One stage – from Sligachan to Elgol – I had to skip because of the bad weather. In retrospect, this was a good decision, because I learned later that some of the rivers were so swollen by the rain that it was impossible to cross them.
